InWest Ventures is a Vancouver-based Start-Up Business Cultivator and Boutique Angel Investment firm. We are members of several angel networks that operate globally, nationally, and regionally, including Vantec and Keiretsu Forum – the world's largest global angel investment network.
InWest Ventures invests in seed- and early-stage companies with high growth potential. On average, we invest $75,000 to $250,000 per company over the life of the venture. Our flexibility allows us to partner from ideation through to exit. We invest in people first, partnering with the best of the best, connecting their ideas and placing them in a frictionless environment of innovative business builders and proven resources as a springboard into the North American market.
We are entrepreneurs at heart and in practice. We found and fund ambitious, category-defining new companies every year. Our team consists of seasoned professionals who have a passionate commitment to maximizing value for our clients. Due Diligence Team
Businesses are like people; each one is unique. At InWest, one of our first priorities when evaluating a new business is to assemble a four to six-person, dedicated due diligence team.
The due diligence team is responsible for verifying, investigating, and auditing all potential Start-Up projects or investment opportunities. They are charged to confirm all relevant facts and financial information and to verify all material facts brought up during the pre-investment stage.
Our due diligence department is comprised of a dozen-plus people with collective expertise that covers all areas of business, management, legal, technical, and financial matters.
